MAX-WEZIE CIVIL & BUILDING CONTRACTORS is a registered close corporation. This is an affirmative business as it holds 65% women ownership and has achieved a LEVEL 1 (One)B-BBEE Contributor status.

The owners of MAX-WEZIE CIVIL& BUILDING CONTRACTORS complement each other with their diversified talents and business background. Both member are highly experienced in the field of construction and can handle projects of any magnitude.

Business Strategy

From time to time, we intend to engage the services of skilled technical personnel an adhoc basis, until the company is well established to have in its house technical personnel. We intend to pursue business opportunities through the creation of joint ventures with strategic business partners in order to draw some expertise when necessary.

Socio-Economic Responsibility

We will always draw a labour component of at least 30% from the community within which the company works. We intend to plough back to communities whom we have completed projects for. We will also transfer skills to the community by training the community members in various fields of artisan.

Health & Safety & HIV/AIDS Programme

We are committed to safety of our employees and have a culture of zero tolerance to accidents on site. MWCBC have dedicated a Health and safety plan and policy which is communicated through the employees at all times. We are currently in the process of acquiring most expertise in the field of Health & Safety.

We have drafted and implemented a sound HIV/AIDS Workplace Programme to curb the effects of HIV/AIDS pandemic in the construction industry. We have since affiliated our business with strategic partners in terms of fighting HIV/AIDS such as SABCOHA and since improved our standard.

Our Human Resources form a vital part of our daily business activities hence we prioritise with “SAFETY”.
